Syrian Billionaires Needed a Favor in Washington. They Invoked the Trump Name.
1/ All the hallmarks of a neo-royalist lollapalooze. Syrian billionaire, ties to Kushner, sanctions relief, preferential contracts. This is not the rules based order or spheres of influence. Global politics is being run by court insiders.

Asha Bhosle, Bollywood singer, 1933-2026
Her voice soothed, seduced and helped define the Indian nation over an eight-decade career
'In Cornershop’s 1997 tribute to her, which rose to top UK charts, they sang: “She’s the one that keeps the dream alive/From the morning, past the evening/Till the end of light.”
...For India’s growing diaspora, her voice over the radio brought solace.'

Ha, lucky I saw your post. Your tagging didn’t work - you ended my last name with “chuck” in the tag, which people do a lot.

Worth noting that Chipotle had a string of high-profile E. coli outbreaks from 2015-2017, and their pricing from around this time was part of a larger, aggressive campaign to preserve their customer base

July 21 1935: The Führer orders a new reception hall and ballroom to "entertain foreign diplomats" at the Chancellery. Underneath the dance floor is an air raid shelter. A 2nd deeper bunker is built next to this in 1944, where he would spend his last days as the Reich collapsed.

Back at wonderful Denny Abbey today 🤩
Founded as a Benedictine Monastery in 1159, shortly taken over by the Knights Templar and then by Franciscan Poor Clare Nuns in the 14th century. After the dissolution in the 16th century, it became a farmhouse - in use until the 1960’s 😀

Yes. Once the websites/apps go down, the only record of Trump’s policies will be screenshots of his posts inserted by his political enemies into documents.
