Not looking good, is it.

A whole new team. Keep Amad, Kobbie, Ugarte and Licha. The rest are up for grabs in my book. Maybe Bruno as well.

We can't go down. Can we?

Well, my time on Twitter/X has finally come to an end and my account there is deactivated.

Will be spending more time here now as a result. Which I think is a good thing!

Snow forecast here too. May be wrong, but don't see it amounting to much.

I'm definitely not throwing the towel in with Amorim. But I do want him to be less stubborn and consider adapting his approach to fit the players we have, especially given it seems there will be no room to bring in new players in Jan.

Very true, and his record indicates he is the best man for the job. My concern is that we're heading in an alarming direction, and he may need to compromise a little to avert a potential disaster.

I don't disagree. We need to be patient and I'm certainly not advocating a change of coach again. I just think he might need to be a little more flexible with his approach.

Yeah they did. I guess even they didn't expect this sort of free fall.

A couple of wins and the picture changes of course. I just fear we're drifting in quite a dangerous direction.

I agree. I just wonder if it's a bit ambitious trying to change the system so quickly without those training sessions. A more gradual switch would seem to make more sense - to me at least.

Not suggesting we change the coach, I'm suggesting the coach may need to be more flexible with his system and tactics.

I really want Amorim to succeed, but I can't say I'm convinced. Blindly following a formation that players aren't suited to, and which may not work in the Premier League is concerning. He says he won't change, but if he doesn't I fear the worst.

It's embarrassing to say the least. I'm sure there are good reasons but it does look utterly shambolic.

I'd say we're becoming a laughing stock, but we already are.

Dan Ashworth is gone then.

Not a great look for INEOS especially after the haggling with Newcastle and the long wait to get him in.

If every player consistently put in the same level of effort and commitment as Amad, we'd be alright.

RIP Kath.

The official tribute, and the many lovely words from ex players and journalists did bring a tear to the eye.

Sounds like a wonderful lady and the end of an era.

Very much so. As @utdheisenberg.bsky.social said, for all that I've never liked them they at least used to play good football. Now it's all about how many corners they can get!

I honestly can't remember where I saw it, but it really made me laugh. They should just sign Jonathan Walters and Ryan Shawcross and be done with it!

People always get carried away. We've had decent spells in the games prior to last night, but also enough to show the hard work needed to get us where we want to be.

Last night was no surprise. In fact I was heartened by the commitment the players showed. Not always been the case...

Morning Reds.

Not too gutted about losing to Stoke, sorry, Arsenal last night. Definite lack of quality in final third, but remained solid for much of the game and it's evident they're trying to follow Amorim's instructions.

It's gonna take time and this wasn't a game I expected much from.

I think I've already missed a day.

Anyhow, 2nd album pick is this.

Lovely day out with a mate yesterday on a London pub crawl. Ended in The Spice of Life watching the incredible Apollo Brass, who were an amazing find.

This was the best pub tree we saw. Congrats to The Silver Cross pub.

Bought a power bank thing for my phone, as phone getting older and losing battery more quickly.

This thing is bigger than my actual phone and weighs a ton. What's the bloody point of that!!

A good number to pick from but for me it's I Believe In Father Christmas by Greg Lake.

Honourable mentions for Fairytale of New York, Happy Xmas (War Is Over) and Band Aid. But that's the winner for me.

Thank you, I'll look into that.
