Sorry for the long absence. I, you know, have a kid.
I know I’m in a good headspace when I have nothing to post and I’m just taking walks and thinking about what I want to do next (other than raising a kid and doing chores).
Discord should have an option to disable @everyone *except* for when it happens
LASTLY. It made me MORE stoked to work despite being busy with parenting and life commitments. So it was a bitter pill delivered by someone who doesn’t know what manga is.
With a backhanded compliment my Nana reminded me what I should be doing other than taking a class. Chasing my inspiration (4/4)
Now. I’m not mad or sad. It just kinda made me feel like I was on the WRONG path with this sketch. So I worked more on my writing which in turn, made me think more in terms of Manga.
In turn that made me thing I was kind of focusing too much on something I won’t learn in one sketch (3/4)
SO. I am talking to my Nana. She lives in the U.K and is around 80. I’m showing her this and she is being nice, she is my Nana. I had shown her other stuff before but I show her THIS. A bunch of sketches and she says “But THIS isn’t you too is it?”. She’s British she means it politely. (2/4)
So. I am experiencing something art wise. Long story but this was supposed to be more than a sketch. THAT’S the sad part. I also kinda don’t like it.
I just have been making a habit of drawing what I am playing or reading and this was me trying to mimic the style of Down South for practice. (1/4)

II: Was an honest dive into the "marketable" side of Clerks. Edgy and cartoony adult humor.
III: Wait, no I can still be melancholy and speak to the true heart of geekdom.
Joke ages like fine wine the more you realize that Clerks was a super introspective film that was Kevin Smith writing about the geek/underdog Dude mindset of the 90's.
I still think Clerks II has SOME of that but you can tell it was made AFTER Dante, Randall, Jay and Silent Bob were marketable.
