Our best April Fools joke was telling our kids for the last week in March that the food they were feeding their hamster looked like rabbit food, then late the night of March 31 swapping a rabbit for their hamster.

Spent my career treating paintings and just finished a novel featuring a painting conservator who discovers paintings hidden from the Nazis in World War II. Adventure, art, suspense, romance. Such fun to write.

For those counting the number of No Kings protesters, don't forget the ones that honked and waved in support. That would add thousands to the thousand of us who protested in Sandusky, Ohio.

Finished my first rough edit of Novel #3 at an artist residency at the Tyrone Guthrie Center in Ireland. Great place to work and hang out with inspiring folks.

My husband, Randal, was an amazing photographer. On his passing, our family was left with a huge archive of his work. Today, the curator from the Smithsonian National Museum of American History chose seventy-two photos for the collection. Pretty thrilled here.

I'm doing a writing residency at the Tyrone Guthrie Center in Ireland in April/May to finish the first draft of my third novel. Anyone else been there? Any tips?

Just finished editing my second novel. Palms. What could happen when four strangers intersect with a palm reader in a Miami hand surgeon's office? Fates change. Now I can go back to finishing up my third novel.

Three novels in I need to look at this part of publishing. Writing is so much fun, it's hard to stop. Thanks, I'm in.

I try not to bore my friends talking about the books that I'm writing and the characters I'm inventing.

The author probably would like to talk about the world they lived in while they were writing it.

Working on my third novel. And, surprise, it involves painting conservation! The first part is set in Occupied Paris. After doing research, I'm not looking forward to being Occupied.
