Please enjoy this post about my ridiculous project in which I forgot to tag myself.

I mean, I still won’t be into k-pop, but I appreciate the effort.
This is awful and was probably predictable
I don't know, but Google Docs capitalizes EVERYTHING when you choose sentence case because apparently its level of machine learning has not advanced to an understanding of words you capitalize and ones you don't.
fucking genocidal
I won an argument with someone on the internet this morning.

Not exactly relevant but reminds me of the library patron who said "I got a DMCA notice for torrenting too much but it turns out you guys have all the movies I want to see here!"
I'm biased, of course, but our interns really do blow me out of the water on a daily basis, and you should all come hear them.
Dear Ms. Crossett, Thank you for contacting me about federal immigration enforcement. It is important for me to hear from folks in Iowa on matters like this. No doubt Americans have firm disagreements on immigration, but it is essential for all of us, regardless of our political beliefs, to remain united behind a shared desire for the best future of our country. While I support Americans' right to protest peacefully, no disagreement justifies violence. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) data show Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) law enforcement officers have faced a dramatic rise in violent incidents and threats while carrying out their duties over the past year. [highlight] Reported figures include a 3,200 percent increase in vehicle-ramming incidents,[end highlight] an 8,000 percent increase in death threats, and a 1,300 percent increase in assaults against officers.
Really curious about where you get your data, Joni Ernst.
Rest in power. Your work was powerful, transformational, crucial. My love and support to all who knew and loved you.
NYT push alert: "A person was shot dead today during a struggle with federal agents in Minneapolis, according to officials."
By who? Who shot the person dead? You saw the video. We all know a federal agent shot a man dead who was prone on the ground. Also, it's not "according to officials." It's according to verified video seen with your eyes. Not saying what anyone can obviously see with their eyes is a form of lying.
Shot in the back.
Don’t shoot a man while he’s down.
Close range.
Sometimes it’s terrifying when figurative language comes to life.
Come work with us! (I mean, on a very part time basis. If you're a student. But still!)
Oh, I have, too—and we had an edited Romeo and Juliet. Or an attempted edit—you really don’t have much of a play left if you leave all the dirty jokes out.

My favorite comment on another FILTHY BOOKS IN THE LIBRARY video suggests that someone hasn't read Chaucer recently.

I mean not like, but. He is, sadly, the first president I remember, and thus I grew up in fear.

Please share this post. I have made a deal with the devil where he will turn me back into a slug if I get 100,000 followers on here. I miss being a slug. I did not have to pay taxes. I had no idea who Katy Perry was. I slithered around aimlessly, not knowing salt would make me die a horrific death.
Joan Didion, conservative, or Joan Didion, cop-hater? I wrote a thing.

huh, that's interesting. once you see the comparison, it becomes very obvious why one is better. would not have noticed it before
I’m at a fencing tournament full of tweens and teens. I have to crack myself up somehow, even if it causes my child extreme cringe.

Hear me out.
All our projects are my favorite projects, but this one, by one of my interns, is my favorite right now. Enjoy! 📚
