that was lovely!
We're lucky to work with some delightful teams making cool stuff funded by @outersloth.com
But remember, THE GAMES AND TEAMS STILL NEED YOUR SUPPORT AND WISHLIST! ๐

please, anyone, does someone know how to tell Gmail that i NEVER WANT ANY AI SUGGESTIONS ON HOW I WRITE MY EMAILS!??!?! (preferrably while keeping email categorization, a feature that's been available WAY BEFORE THIS AI SLOPFEST)
LET ME WRITE MY OWN EMAILS DAMN IT
nothing could have ever prepared me for blue prince
how do i sneak a miffy reference into a psychological horror game?
a game is made between conversations, in bursts of ideas that come from anyone anywhere even if that person is not directly involved in doing "hard" work like coding or building assets or whatever. the people i work with are as much owners of the game as i am. so we will always say we're a team of 7
like if we're "super strict" and follow some of the popular discourse about team size, i could say desktop explorer is "being made by 3 people" but that is not and will never be the reality.
contractors are game devs / makers / authors too
it's so powerful that i still get the feeling even when reading my own writing. like something in my brain is working overtime to try and determine whether a human being is behind the words i read. don't get me wrong i think its a good thing and a good skill to have but it still feels exhausting
i cant help but think of AI writing whenever i see text summarized in a 3 bullet point emoji structure
๐โโฌ this actually sucks
๐ถ why did we do this to ourselves
๐ฆญ we might have over-optimized attention catching strategies
now it all feels gray
i think it was very fitting that i left karmelita for last by accident, i just didn't find her until the very end. the game made me feel like i was one with my inputs, just a very satisfying skill expression in each fight
last silksong (or as i lovingly call it - cilantro) update.. for now?
i think i did everything i wanted at ~86% completion. it's crazy how much I'm still thinking about the game after 70 hours. i would go insane for DLC but I'm happy leaving it as is.
it's nice to feel a tiny glimmer of hope on the Internet
what a perfect description of bilewater. good luck
super lovely writeup about the game :) look ma i've made it into thinkygames!
alright alright alright 63 and a half hours for silksong. coldest take in the world but: incredible. not without faults, like every other game in existence, but yeah. loved every second. such a treat.
i love my friends
seth is one of the coolest videogame bosses i have ever fought and i just can't get over having the privilege to pay such a beautiful homage to a person that has passed away
update i did not play a single second of hades 2 because i am too silksongpilled
Thank you so much we're very flattered! I loved reading what you wrote about our game.
If youโre in a creative field and you donโt lift up the work of your peers, you canโt expect people to care about your stuff
๐ฅน๐โโ๏ธ thank you!
