I asked whether other constituents have been calling. She said it's been a mixed bag. Some constituents want Rep. Frankel to go to D.C., while others want her to stay here and talk to them and answer their questions. (What do they want? Hugs???) +

The news outlets have probably been reporting the 8 million number because that's what Indivisible is publishing. Indivisible tends to choose the most conservative estimate-- like their NoKings2 number of 7 million seemed low, too.
