Hey guess who refused to eat his beautiful fresh organic locally grown mustard greens for dinner so he’s getting a late night escarole snack because he’s a spoiled little prince.

I returned to art in my 40s. A child who loved to draw, whose passion was beaten out of him by an educational system determined to force everyone into a “proper job”. Was told that “if you must draw, become a designer, not an artist”. I did & hated every moment for 20+ yrs.
Now 51, drawing dragons.

Some folks are early birds, and others are night owls.
Then there are those of us who creep through life on tattered wings, too tired to soar with the flock and instead looking for a quiet nook, strong tea, and a good book.

I hate it when people berate the abilities of artists, who are only just starting out. Art takes time, it’s hard work to slowly get better to make something you take pride in. By crushing beginner artists, you’re squashing their potential.

You are not Betraying The Cause by finding solace in stupid tv shows or video games or anything else that means nothing but makes you happy. If it gets you through and keeps you on your feet, there's the value, right there

I used to tease her when she went deep purple (shamefully).
She asked me to go to the ARMY screening of Yet To Come in London.
I enjoyed it so much, we went back the next day to a different screening. I’ve happily never looked back
