I'm slowly rediscovering drawing for myself. I don't care using references for correct anatomy, I only care about doing what feels fun, and it has helped me a lot. It's weird how painting professionally has almost ruined art for me.

It's been two months since I quit the art career and got a new job. I'm slowly recovering from the huge burnout I had, while still trying to finish all the comms in the spare time I have.
While I miss some parts of my previous life, I'm feeling much happier

Was an honour to paint him

In a clear spring morning, a man sits on the edge of a small fountain in a garden, with a tome on his lap, practicing a spell. A dog sits in front of him, looking up at him curiously. A footpath runs through the garden, and bushes and trees line the edges of the garden, with a stone wall separating the garden from the outer forest. The sky is pale blue, tinted with yellow as the sun rises in the morning.
