It's been a bit of a slow week for news outside of iPhone Fold rumors and the moon mission. Here's my weekly newsletter, which you can get for free in your inbox by signing up.

Watched the first episode and I think we've got another instant classic. Beautiful work and wonderful characters.
Here is LunarWall 🌒
A simple shortcut that shuffles #artemis Moon photos on your Lock Screen or Mac desktop. Fetched directly from the NASA API, free to use, runs in a second. Great to use as an automation during the day!

The iPhone Fold doesn't need to exist, but someone at Apple is determined to make it happen.
They were clearly going for Pokémon vibes, but come on guys, it's Spore!

My hometown mentioned in the most chaotic of senses. Yeah, everyone here knows Holston Defense is a thing. But damn, the only domestic source? Whew.
I suddenly feel a target painted on our little mountain town.
Thank God for Taco Tuesday
A video of a dog breaking an obstacle course shown above a link preview from Bluesky embedded in an iMessage thread. The text below says "oh hey look, native video playback in Messages. Nice one Bluesky.
Idk when this happened, but thanks @bsky.app and Apple for whatever magic allowed native in-line video playback in iMessage.
I was at a loss about what I should write in the blog today considering the state of things. So, I wrote about that.

I'll give Altman this, the cognitive load of one sweater is much lower than multiple layers of polo shirt.
Another excellent e-bike from Velotric
Alright, here it is. The inevitable "Apple warning supply chain of potential delays."
I don't think the iPhone Fold is coming in 2026. I really don't think it will ever launch, nor should it.
Kyle Ren in Star Wars standing in his awkward high rise pants with no shirt.
The best thing Star Wars can do is get far away from the 70 years or so surrounding the Skywalker Saga. There's a lot of universe out there and a lot of timeline. Just tell fun stories using the established rules of this universe and cool stuff can happen.
The Last Jedi is an amazing movie for people who like movies, but terrible for those that like Star Wars.
As someone that loves movies and Star Wars, it was one of my favorite in the franchise. I'm okay with Rise of Skywalker, but imagine if we got the actual sequel they were cooking with TLJ.
We still haven't seen a single part leak for this thing. By this time last year we knew the iPhone Air down to its exact dimensions.
Some thoughts on space, the year 2076, and the App Store in this week's newsletter.

In a normal world, this would be an easy win for Apple. However, the company is backed by Andreessen Horowitz.
So yeah, this is a case to watch.
This is an amazing little rig for your iPhone that'll work across generations. Pretty cool stuff over at Tilta.
I mean, your mom definitely got the invite anyway.
Shareshot is one of those indispensable apps if you ever need a screenshot of anything to look good. Pretty much seamless and automatic workflow.
hmmm
One day I might finish Claire Obscure. I never understood the hype. Maybe I just need to get past the apparent big spoilery thing that happens after the first act?
Maybe that'll make me care? Idk guys. It just feels so confused as a whole. So many games have done this better.
Go watch "Pirates of Silicon Valley" and enjoy much better 50th anniversary coverage from people that aren't me.

Day One may be pivoting to AI in the most private and secure way they think is available, but I don't like it. They don't even say which company provides a model, just "trusted third-party."
Glad that Apple Journal exists.
I know nothing about basketball, but also Chi Chi would fuck shit up then make the losing team go study after.
