MHA is strangling housing production in Seattle. Even worse, the fees aren’t properly recalibrated each year to ensure the density bonus aligns.

MFTE and housing levy funds are more effective for delivering affordable housing.

Evidently what did Orban in was not his illiberalism but a poor economy, which went downhill after Orban started intervening in the economy more and more. Much as Trump has been doing. But also what Biden did and Elizabeth Warren would like to do.

Not sure the median income is a good measure of what makes younger people complain about prices. Rent and cost of buying a house is what has gone up a lot more than inflation and what many see as having an effect on their lives.
