What should D.C. United do before the transfer window closes? With United looking stronger than expected and the Eastern Conference looking like a mess (for now), a move now could pay big dividends.

The MLS transfer window closes Thursday.

Given that DCU is more solid than anyone expected while most of the East is a mess, I'd argue that now's the time to strike.

Here are roles (not just positions, but specific profiles) that United would benefit from adding before the window shuts.
