I was hooked by a random trailer. It was OK as a MMORPG and quite stylish. Very laggy.

It played by clearing long and interesting dungeons. The actual visual and writing is not too far from VTM. At least the early game.

Do modern MMOs still hire admins and moderators to hang out in the game most of the day? I feel like this practice has faded long ago in favor of automatic censorship. Which would lead to the lack of enforcement for interactions like you said.

It sounds like these games thrive because they can function better without third-party social media. So it has higher ownership and interaction as a third space. 3D can help.

I agree. Before social media was adopted massively, MMOs would dedicate systems to connect players differently.

Players would rely on forums, in-game chat options, guilds, events and special spaces (markets) to gather information and share art. But social media cuts away from the MMO's environment.
