I REALLY want to like this movie. The biggest things holding me back at the moment are Jared Leto and the “Tron in the real-world” premise. Part of what makes Tron Legacy work so well for me is its world design. I WANT this to work, but I’m just a little weary.
The fact this never became a series or even got some kind of sequel should be a crime.
Personally, the best quality any media can have is to have me thinking about it long after I’ve first experienced it.
I typically still have to think it’s critically good at least, but it’s that extra factor that has me love (or at least be fascinated by) it above its peers.
