Last week, dining workers at the Meta campus in Bellevue WA presented a petition asking Meta to allow workers back in the buildings’ parking garages – in part to limit their contact with ICE agents who have been witnessed in the area.
Dining workers on the area tech campuses are organizing to keep each other safe in the face of increased ICE activity and changing immigration policy.

Seattle Convention Center union employees handed out leaflets to pedestrians on January 31st. Workers say wages are too low, while Seattle's cost of living continues to rise. Management is even proposing medical plans with higher out-of-pocket costs for some workers.

We represent nearly 1,500 dining workers on tech campuses in WA and OR at Google, Microsoft, and Meta. All these workers secured union recognition through a card check process just like workers are now asking from Lavish Roots. The countdown to our deadline of Dec 1 continues!
