A frosty, smoke death wolf character artwork. She's not exactly corporeal. Her face is a black, blue-lit skull. There is frost and snow raging all about her.

Death, frost, smoke and eerie blue lights in... a wolf form.

Very cool design and beautifully crafted. I love the frost trails outlining the features around the face in particular.

Gorgeous! The bits of blue in the fur make me so happy!
A crop of the OG image, focusing on the magpie in its nest.
A crop of the original image, focusing on the human skull at the base of the tree making up the background.
A crop of the original image, focusing on one group of the foxes' ninetails, stylistically intertwined with vines, leaves, and multi-petaled columbine flowers.
An illustration of a highly detailed, symmetrical drawing of two foxes fighting; pressed chest to chest, jaws open in defiance of one another, mirroring each other, unable to separate due to the ornate collar ensnaring both of their necks, binding them together. A series of small, golden, swords jut from various openings in the collar. In the centre of the collar, is a very obvious keyhole. The foxes' nine tails branch out behind them, neatly and precisely entangled by stylized vines dotted with blue columbine flowers. At the roots of the narrow tree that can be seen sprouting behind the foxes - something of the source of all the vines and flowers - roots can be seen splaying out, once again ensnaring the legs of the foxes and pouring from the eye sockets of a human skull. Perched in a nest directly above the foxes' heads, is a European magpie with a golden key clutched in its beak. The next is overflowing with treasures like a golden goblet, a ring, and a broken pearl necklace that drapes from the nest itself and entwines around the nearby branches, almost like a banner suspended over the dueling foxes.
A crop of the aforementioned image, focusing on the foxes' head, their open jaws locked over one another.
Noble Espionage.

An ovular shaped sticker design with a gold border featuring a werewolf running between two wolves through a forest. The wolf on the left is white, the werewolf in the middle is a black/grey and twice as big as the wolves, and the wolf on the right is a brown/tan color. There are trees, mushrooms, grass and ferns in the background.

And I do realize that artists are supposed to be more like illusionists than documentarians. That was one of the core things they taught us in art school, too. So you're right in that as long as it gives an accurate enough impression of what I'm going for, it shouldn't overly matter.
So true. I've been doing more traditional work lately and realizing that digital media has really overindulged my perfectionism. I still enjoy making art with real media despite that, but I do find I am a far harsher critic of it versus my digital work.
I will definitely take your advice when I next attempt a symmetrical drawing though. Thank you!
I see! Thank you very much for taking the time to answer in such detail. I have noticed that my attempts at symmetry look/feel better when I don't use a ruler... until I use a ruler to check things and realize it's actually really off. Lol Truly ignorance is bliss.
So pretty! Is there a trick to getting it to look so symmetrical?
