Got lunch today with a new atty currently clerking for the judge I clerked for. By the end of lunch I had set her up for 3 more informational interviews.

Ask people to lunch! Make the connections! Stop being afraid of networking!

Best advice I can give to law students & new attys: send the freaking email.

One of our interns said she was nervous to ask about staying on next semester bc she didn’t want to seem presumptuous… little did she know partners had been talking about wanting her to stay.
