This is exactly the kinda thinking that causes us trans women VAs to not get cast.
Great to see this! Things have been increasingly fragmented with a lot of folks ditching twitter (rightly so), so nice to see folks building their own rosters!

I moved to bluesky because I saw the state of twitter around the election and understood I didn't feel safe there or comfortable actively engaging on a platform where my engagement would benefit large groups of people who use hatred as a weapon.

SECOND QUARTER 2025 RESULTS Q2 2025 quarterly revenues increased 9.8% to $352.2 million compared to $320.8 million for Q2 2024. Income from operations increased 17.2% to $33.5 million compared to $28.6 million for Q2 2024. Net income (1) decreased to $26.3 million compared to $36.9 million for Q2 2024. Net income per diluted share (1) decreased to $0.62 in Q2 2025 compared to $0.77 for Q2 2024. Adjusted EBITDA (2) for the quarter increased 11.8% to $107.7 million compared to $96.3 million for Q2 2024. Adjusted net income (2) decreased to $51.6 million compared to $53.7 million for Q2 2024. Adjusted net income per diluted share (1)(2) (or āAdjusted diluted EPSā) for the quarter increased 5.1% to $1.24 compared to $1.18 for Q2 2024. Net cash provided by operating activities was $57.1 million in Q2 2025 compared to $50.6 million in Q2 2024. Free cash flow (2) was $26.9 million in Q2 2025 compared to $25.1 million in Q2 2024. Ziff Davis deployed approximately $11.4 million for current and prior year acquisitions during the quarter and $33.9 million related to share repurchases in Q2 2025.
Ziff Davis just reported their "strongest quarterly revenue growth since 2021," up 9.8% to $352.2M, with gaming and entertainment up 7.5% YOY.

Cast more trans women in your games, shows, etc.
Cast them as trans women.
Cast them as cis women.
Cast them as the helpful cute creature.
Cast them as the groaning zombie sfx.
Cast them as the narrator.
Cast them as anything they feel comfortable auditioning for.
Discouraging to see how much internet freelance marketplaces have plummeted. There used to be tons of freelance voiceover work up for grabs, but now, it's all but slowed to a trickle.
GenAI exists to harm the workflow of hard-working freelancers, nothing more.

I've heard a few folks complaining about the new verification system being rolled out into bsky, but frankly, I think it's great! It'll encourage more industry folks to come here, and thus, means this place could become even better for networking! Bsky could have the reach of X without the bullshit!
Where are folks finding quality auditions nowadays? With a lot of voiceover folks still on The Bad Place, and a lot of auditions being posted over there, I'm curious if any such outlet exists here in The Better Place, or elsewhere that I may not know about!
