Just got off phone with Comcast/Xfinity- over $30/mo to add tier w/Marlins & Rays games to my cable service. I can get Marlins thru MLB.tv for $99/season. Or save $ and stick with free MLB.tv. All I watch are Phillies games anyway. Nope, Comcast.

With the Phillies… okay, a bunch of minor leaguers in Phillies uniforms, plus a smattering of regulars in town to play the Nationals, it seemed appropriate to drop by. It’s cold, by Florida standards, anyway.

That was a great halftime show. Like a perfectly choreographed block party. Worth sitting through an excruciatingly dull first half of football.

People have forgotten the nightmare of assigned risk pools, and how any pre-existing condition meant you’d pay over a thousand per month for limited coverage. Nobody should ever be forced into risk pools again. Single-payer should have been instituted decades ago.

Just called to make a doctor's appointment, got an AI "agent" that kept veering from English to Spanish and wanted a LOT of information. Then the doc's office called and asked the same questions, because the AI screwed up and made an appointment for the wrong office. F AI.

Raul Malo died yesterday at 60. Incredible voice, singular talent. What a loss. We got to see/hear him at Tobacco Road in Miami in The Mavericks' last show before heading to Nashville to record their debut album.
