Rescue teams managed to pull injured correspondent Zeinab Faraj from Tayri. However, al-Akhbar correspondent Amal Khalil remains trapped in the town. The two correspondents were covering an Israeli strike on a car in Tayri, which killed its two occupants, Mukhtar Ali Bazzi and Mohammad al-Hourani. The Israeli force then struck the site again, injuring the journalists.
