It’s been crazy for a while but it somehow got worse

I do it way less than I used to say 12 years ago. I do it when an artist I am invested in releases something new, or a friend shows me their music. The rest of the time I have unfortunately become a more passive listen

It's about lockdown and nearly losing hope about things ever getting better, nearly being the key word.

It's about isolation, frustration, stagnation, but also deciding that detaching and giving up were not the answer.

Seems so surreal. I honestly think that period permanently messed with my notion of time

Remember when we were all locked in our houses and couldn't do anything? I wrote a song about it and it will be out on January 30th.
I know it seems like ages ago but still feels relevant bc it's about detachment and letting go of hope and whether that's really the best answer in difficult times.
