Trying to be more active, so I’ve been doing a lot of walking lately. But I’ve bought myself some running trainers as I want to start running with my wife, who has been doing it for about a year now and is smashing it!

Loving my new Garmin Vivoactive 5. My wife surprised me with it as my Fitbit was playing up a lot and I was getting fed up with it. Don’t think I’ll ever go back to a Fitbit after a few days using a Garmin.

Welcome back! Sorry, I haven’t been using social media much for the past couple of months so didn’t realise you’d gone.

Anyway, it’s the perfect end of year treat and it’s only a game at the end of the day. Plenty of other stuff to play.

As gutting as it is, the GTA 6 delay is a good thing. Rockstar are perfectionists and obviously feel it won’t be good enough for May 2026. They’re not about to pull a Cyberpunk 2077, no matter how much pressure the shareholders will be piling on them (and I bet it’s a lot!).

Bit gutted about this, it was coming out on my birthday! Now there’s another year to wait 😩

Everytime I see an update for No Man’s Sky it makes me want to pick it up again. Then I realise I have two young kids and barely anytime to play my ridiculous backlog, so I’d be kidding myself thinking I could put any time into this 😩

I still think you should buy albums if you can though. It supports the artist far more than your streams. But Spotify is great for discovering and trying new artists.

Finally got an email about my Spotify subscription price going up. Honestly, I’m not that fussed. It’s only £1 more a month and I still think it’s a steal given how much I use it.

I can’t complain when I have access to so much music for less than the price of what I used to pay for 2 albums.

Got in the car this morning to drive to work. My wife Alexandra was the last one to use it. The radio comes on while I fiddle with CarPlay and I’m greeted by Michael Bublé singing a Christmas song on Magic Xmas.

Disappointed that Tales of The Shire: A Lord of The Rings game is getting bad reviews, as I was really looking forward to it. But from what I’ve seen, it’s looking like it’s quite dull and janky as hell. It’s a shame, as they could have done great things with that licence.

That’s three games finished in a short time (although, to be fair, Yakuza: Like a Dragon was already 90% done) because I’ve not been flicking between numerous games every time I switch my PS5 on. I’m definitely going to keep doing this.

This playing one game at a time until I finish it is really working for me. In the last couple of weeks I’ve finished Robocop: Rogue City (ok, but I enjoyed my time with it), Yakuza: Like a Dragon (after about two years, but loved it!) and I’m nearly done with Lost Records: Bloom & Rage.

Forgot to post this t-shirt I got for Father’s Day. It’s PAC-MAN eating the solar system. My son is obsessed with PAC-MAN, so of course he absolutely adores it.

Trying to stick to one game at a time at the moment to get through my library. I have a tendency to jump around all the time so I never end up completing anything.

Although I also need to learn that I don’t have to finish everything I start. Not every game is worth spending hours finishing.

Hey all! I’ve been off here for the most part for a while. I’ve had a lot going on and just haven’t felt like opening the app for a while. But I’m going to check in more now.

Game wise I’ve been chugging my way through Robocop Rogue City lately. It’s average at best, but enjoyable enough.

It took me ages to build this Mario Kart Lego set, but it was well worth it as he loves it!

I adore cats. Lost our Figaro to a car years ago and that really hurt. My first cat growing up, Lucky, was 19 when he died so had been with me all my life at that point. It’s like losing a member of your family.

Some absolute bangers in #Eurovision this year. As for the UK, I’ve heard it a lot over the last few weeks and I don’t mind it. They have good voices, although the song is a little messy. I don’t think it’s a winner, but hopefully we’ll get a decent amount of points.

I was going to post that I wasn’t fussed about the GTA VI delay as I’ve got a massive backlog and it’s now releasing on my birthday next year. So, what a treat!

But then Rockstar dropped trailer 2 and my hype metre is off the scale again. Those graphics and the depth of the detail are insane! 😩
