From my experience with my feline daughter, I feel like tuxedo cats just like making things more difficult for the challenge, not out of any sort of lacking. They're too smart and need the puzzle 😅

I've been giggling for the last ten minutes like a maniac
You made him even hotter. I don't know how, but you did.
Not even in this fandom but for real this rule always applies:
So I wanna start off saying I’m not pregnant 😂 (yet?!)
But recently me and my partner have been really on the children subject.
So we ended up with the idea of designing kids for our sonas 🥺🫶🏻
I love them alr

I picked up a party sized lasagna. The entire day has felt like 3 weeks crammed into 8 hours.

FUCK THE EMPIRE AND FUCK THE ILLEGAL WAR
Please please PLEASE show support to all of the Iranians in your life right now. Here’s a starter pack of all of the amazing Iranian artists and creatives I know!!

A photo of Iranian schoolgirls with the following text: Look at each face...think of the love, hopes, and dreams in your family...and multiply that by 90 million. As American taxpayers, every American bomb that drops has our names on it.
Let's pray that Trump considers the hard and human reality of “collateral damage”...
you have to get him out of office and you have to do it today
even if it gets blocked you force an impeachment vote right now
how else can you live with yourself if he follows through with this and you didn’t do everything you could to stop it
"Here's what doesn't happen in war: there are no wondrous, climactic battles that leave the good guys standing tall and the bad guys lying in the dirt. Life isn't a World Wrestling Federation Smackdown. Even the people who win a war, who survive and come out the other side with the conviction that they have done something brave and necessary, don't do a lot of celebrating. There's very little chanting of 'we're number one' among people who've personally experienced war. I'm just a writer, and my main goal was always to entertain. But I've never let Animorphs turn into just another painless video game version of war, and I wasn't going to do it at the end. I've spent 60 books telling a strange, fanciful war story, sometimes very seriously, sometimes more tongue-in-cheek. I've written a lot of action and a lot of humor and a lot of sheer nonsense. But I have also, again and again, challenged readers to think about what they were reading. To think about the right and wrong, not just the who-beat-who. And to tell you the truth I'm a little shocked that so many readers seemed to believe I'd wrap it all up with a lot of high-fiving and backslapping. Wars very often end, sad to say, just as ours did: with a nearly seamless transition to another war. So, you don't like the way our little fictional war came out? You don't like Rachel dead and Tobias shattered and Jake guilt-ridden? You don't like that one war simply led to another? Fine. Pretty soon you'll all be of voting age, and of draft age. So when someone proposes a war, remember that even the most necessary wars, even the rare wars where the lines of good and evil are clear and clean, end with a lot of people dead, a lot of people crippled, and a lot of orphans, widows and grieving parents. If you're mad at me because that's what you have to take away from Animorphs, too bad. I couldn't have written it any other way and remained true to the respect I have always felt for Animorphs readers. K.A. Applegate"

That shade. So true though, and honestly impressed about which team member was the one thinking clearly about the whole thing, especially having seen some of their livestream shenanigans.
As a queer author myself I applaud her standing up to censorship and hate.
I don't have a lot to donate, but even a little from a lot can help make a difference in these wretched times
I got banned from twitter in 2023 for this drawing. They called it "violent speech". It had over 40K likes and too many comments for me to read before my ban, but I still see it floating around here and there. Save a copy, and use it freely. No attribution needed. Love u

My brother was working on his Masters through their online programs, since he'd started it there. He just had to withdraw because they refused to work with him while he's acting as a caretaker for our parents. My sister's degree has also proved to be useless despite being in demand.
I made the mistake of being disabled and upset about J6 while at ISU in their Robotics program. This was in the midst of me realizing who I was too. Ended up being railroaded out of the school, losing my housing in the process. Got lucky and found a home in another state.
1. A Kentucky bill declaring trans people mentally ill and banning trans teachers is set to pass largely unopposed.
Mirroring the anti-gay movement of the 1970s, an amendment to a bipartisan bill has quietly been proposed, and it has gone by unnoticed.

The people there, even 'good' ones, will absolutely tell on you. I was outed to my church congregation after trusting one single person with my identity when I lived there.
Having lived there, this is basically empowering violence against trans people. Even in relatively liberal Pocatello it could absolutely be dangerous to be out and about before this law. I have friends that are fleeing because of this.

“Do not put money in the pocket of a woman who has sworn publicly to use it to disenfranchise vulnerable populations” is the smallest ask imaginable. It’s not oxygen, it’s not food. It’s television. You can do without. There are thousands of other shows for you to watch.
Cassandra Clare is another good YA with the Shadowhunters series. LGBT+ characters throughout the series.
That said, he does do a lot of good in the region, including the LGBTQ+ community. I know because I'm a former Mormon and part of the community in SLC.
Officially the mormon church has denounced at least part of that, even though they did formerly endorse torture. Sanderson's day job is as a professor at BYU, which may complicate the tithing thing since they do require employees to be in 'good standing'.
Brandon has spoken out in support of Trans people in his podcast, which is one of the reasons I'm still a fan despite leaving the church behind. He doesn't speak often, since his 'day job' is as a professor at BYU, but from what I've seen he is an ally.
Terry Brooks for sure. He and his wife Judine have talked about how horrified they are at the direction that things have gone in this country, especially the targeted discrimination that's gone on for PoC and LGBTQIA+ people.
