This is Achrioptera manga, a giant phasmid or stick insect native to Madagascar.
The specific epithet, "manga" means blue in Malagasy & it's not hard to see why. Only males are blue.
The tiny back wings ("alae") are an example of brachyptery: they're useless for flight, but have other functions.

I'm really glad that I permanently left meta places and twitter for this reason also. Those places only ever caused me severe pain and self doubt. I'm FAR too slow and tired to keep up anymore. I'd rather improve myself at my pace than flail against unreasonable algorithms
honestly this is why I appreciate that a lot of people on here don't mind when artists repost their own work.
I'm so tired and depressed. Having the option to use work I'm already proud of really takes a lot of burden away. And I've only ever felt I could do that on bluesky.

Oh for sure, I don't usually let the scam get that far before I block, but this person was just sending me to their art gallery and had a consistent style, which is what made me think it was an actual furry. But it definitely could have been a bot, they can be convincing and I blocked quick
It's something I think newbies need to be reminded of. It used to happen on FA a lot before bots took over the internet, so I do think they can be real sometimes. But who knows anymore, sometimes bots "sound" so real.
Last post in this thread - I usually block and move on with legit scammers, but this seemed like an actual furry. thus why I'm more disappointed
And lemme tell you, I am blunt. I will tell you off to maybe save the next commissioner who might not be as forward as I am. I try not to be rude but I will shame you for infiltrating my space with an unwanted advertisement. I get enough of those.

Bruh please don't ever send me a direct message advertising your commissions to me. I will assume you are a scammer and block you. I watch people for months/years before I commission them or I will take recommendations from friends.
