I made the jump into doubles and it is both scarier and harder. But as I slowly work through crafting my team as I learn, I find it to be much more rewarding than singles

i getcha. its a hard habit to break cause i dont wanna lose either. i have bad anxiety when playing multiplayer games so i have to remind myself that i cannot win every game and that i am having fun even when i lose. so far it has worked beating the anxiety :)
