Does anyone have the capability and consoles to take very high res shots of original Xbox motherboards?
We're looking for the level of resolution of the wonderful shots @jft-jnftech.bsky.social took of Xbox 360 motherboards ("Image" section next to each model)

Maybe they don't have your phone number? Happened to me!
For extra points test on a non-latin-language windows installation because a lot of system paths change! (Base language of the install media in that language, not installed later)
I use Windows 10 pro install in Norwegian with English language installed
If you use GitHub (especially if you pay for it!!) consider doing this *immediately*
Settings -> Privacy -> Disallow GitHub to train their models on your code.
GitHub opted *everyone* into training. No matter if you pay for the service (like I do). WTH

New 360 app drop! This should be useful for people who fix or mod a lot of 360s and run into ones with Parental Control passcodes on them. No need to bother with dumping NAND for it anymore.

Fun fact; half of Team XLink's annual expenses operating XLink Kai is domain renewals!
May I interest you in a 30MB exe? Its only going to get bigger as I add more drivers 😆

I've done this in the past and it was fairly straightforward. I had it in its own VM behind a NGINX reverse proxy to handle TLS and certbot to handle certificate updates via letsencrypt. Pretty easy
I dump my downloads drive to tape every few months to free up space. Don't get into tape, its a slippery slope to even more hoarding D:
How about we ban gambling instead :)

A title image reads “So Youve Just Been Laid Off a post-corporate message from @katewelchhhh”
“One year ago, I was laid off from my corporate gaming job. For the first time in my 15-year career, I was unemployed without a next secure, salaried job on the horizon. I am either exceptionally lucky or talented, but it doesn't matter which it is - both no longer seem applicable.”
I just saw this instagram post from the incredibly talented and breathtakingly hilarious Kate Welch, who was laid off around a year ago, and I wanted to share it here. It’s an important message, and you deserve to read it:

As someone going through the process of getting sleep apnea treatment and getting a very severe diagnosis... the difference will be dramatic. I've had multiple family members receive treatment and the difference in their ability to function is night and day.
Repaired and installed a necessary kitchen appliance today. (Full tube swap) Have a pi hooked up that shuffles a playlist of curated cartoon shows.

We're going to drop support for Windows XP 😱
Team XLink's software dev infrastructure has gotten ridiculous over the years with 20+ build machines and dozens of CI pipelines. We're cleaning up before our next XLink Kai release but oh man its a mess 😱
