Lilandra has gotten Monmoogodd a gift, an outfit truly fitting his divine stature. It was a gift he accepted, for any such offerings must be taken by the God it was offered to. Although, he has a sneaking suspicion that Lilandra knew it would start burning off of him.
Monmoogodd is seen here "punishing" his mistress, Lilandra. It was her influence on the Kuo-toa that led to his change in weight; it was her fault that he became so hefty and soft. He's got a reputation of fear to maintin damnit!
Monmoogodd is a rather local deity, being the god of a singular volcano of the same name, worshipped by a group of Kuo-toa. Once, he was a being brimming with vigour, crashing down on the enemies of his people. He still does that last part, just not in quite the same ways.
Course, the world Nathanial lives in isn't exactly normal. He's learning that the hard way after brushing up against a Bloat Cactus on his way to catch a mark of his. He isn't yet aware that he's about to experience a total runaway effect.

When Kobolds of differing tribes meet, they tend to bump chest to chest with one another, get a real comparison going between them. Etri's annoyed because Toss is taller, while Toss loathes that she can feel and see that Etri is bigger in every other way.
This outfit is another one of Jugs' favourites, her hiking gear. She likes to keep up with the times, updating her outfits to suit any situation and to look smashing as she navigates them. Khakis are still in fashion, right?

The final member of Duchess's immediate family, Lady Arethia. She holds the position of Marquise within the Collosian nobility, governing the land controlled by Duke while he is away at sea. Duchess, despite her early eccentricities, was Lady's favoured daughter.

Speaking of whom, this is Duke Arethia, the patriarch of the family. He is an Admiral of the Colossian navy, in charge of handling the security for merchant vessels, a growing necessity as the seas become filled with more and more battle and bloodshed.
