A lot of productivity and habit books assume people have consistent, set work schedules. Very annoying for people who work retail jobs and such.
Now I clock in for work at 6AM and all the books are like, "Want to win at life? Wake up at 5am." Honey, I wake up at 3:30AM and I am not winning.

I did not set out to write a book with a Christian main character, but it made sense due to the setting. So if you are interested in Christianity in sci-fi, The Escape is for you.

I reduced contact with family who voted for Trump in 2016.
Suddenly they think perhaps he shouldn’t be president.
James was in line to be the Grand General of the colony militia, one of the three most powerful men in the colony, and the wealthiest.
He left the colony instead, to give his wife and son a better life.
Then they sentenced him to life in prison.
One of the main characters in a book later in my series is ace. She is a very accomplished scientist, in charge of science and research on a huge spaceship. She wants to discover the cause of the big bang.
When I worked in movie theatres, I had to stop saying “enjoy your movie” because everyone said “you too!” and most of them were visibly embarrassed.
I stick with “have an awesome day” for everything.
I wish my desire to write books wasn't constantly at odds with my desire to have financial stability

The dumb phone movement is gaining steam. I have a dumb phone, the Light Phone 3, and love it.

I found The Book Rescuers in Largo. Cool store! Downside is they don’t buy books. Bookmans did cash or store credit. I always took store credit.
But of course that did not stop me from buying several books today.

Important for everyone to know that on average, an outdoor cat has half the life expectancy of an indoor cat in the US. Letting Mittens outside is not good for anyone. Please keep them inside where they won't be eaten by a coyote or smashed by a vehicle.

Didn't think of this. Does nonfiction have prologues? I know they have forewords that I skip.
I would give a lot of money to have a convenient device that doesn't cause chunks when I use protein powder. I've tried different powders and shakers and blenders. I don't think it's meant to be. Chunks it is.

I read the prologue every time. I do tend not to read forewords.
This is how I typically write but publishing a serial has forced somewhat of a change. And I've never been much of a planner in the first place.

(2/2) Which is really wild to think about. But that's obviously too long ago for this match, which is 1% of my DNA, so it goes back relatively few generations.
Anyway, we're all related so be nice to each other.

(1/2) Had a few surprises in my DNA results. I knew my 8th great grandmother was Mexican, but I did not expect Icelandic or Central Asian ancestry to pop up.
I know the most recent common ancestor of all humans lived 2000-5000 years ago, probably along the silk road.
