Listening to Nick Offerman read “A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court” while painting the dining room and never cease to be amazed by Mark Twain’s ability to have me laughing and crying in the span of a few minutes as he tackles heavy topics in a ridiculous setting.

Where am I on the holiday exhaustion spectrum? I’m at “order Taco Bell to be delivered.”
I’ve spent the whole day wondering why the trash truck hasn’t come by.
Only realized an hour ago that it’s because today is not, in fact, Wednesday.

What’s the feeling called when you’re thrilled to complete your final for a class and also a little disappointed that the class is over? It’s an entirely new feeling for me.
And somehow Home Alone 2 is even more violent and they walk away yet again? Are the Wet Bandits part of the multiverse or something?
One of the saddest things about adulthood is knowing, beyond the shadow of a doubt, that Jude Law and Cameron Diaz will absolutely breakup at some point (soon) after the end of The Holiday.
Are you even a parent if your preferred method of eating mac and cheese isn’t straight from the pot while standing in front of the stove?
Rarely have I felt so seen by a shirt.
Oh, that Home Alone house on the bottom right was 100% an anniversary gift to each other for our 10 year.
I saw him live in Nashville in 2007? 2008? and the way he held the entire audience in palm of his hand was truly spectacular.

It’s our Super Bowl, right?
Few things are more tortuous for an enneagram 5 than your young child wanting to play the game “pretend you don’t know things.”
Few things bring me as much joy as calculating all of the butter and cream needed for my Thanksgiving baking.
Amazing how many things you can get done in a day and yet, somehow, a shower seems like an impossible task.
I tried one this summer because my husband was curious about my disdain for them.
He looked at it for a moment, then solemnly agreed that a a side part is the only part for me.
We decided to switch from turkey to prime rib a few years ago, still with all the sides we love, and have never looked back.
While I’m not always into villain origin stories, I’d love to know the backstory and eventual fate of Sid from Toy Story after the events of the first movie.
That’s going to change a person.
Sometimes it seems too on the nose that I’m taking a class entitled The Ancient Roman World this semester when all of *this* is happening around us.
Happy anniversary! Every time I see you post about him on IG I smile. So much love there.
Delighted to see that Aesop products aren’t on sale or discounted, but experience a “rare price reduction.”
The brand is strong.
I used Peanut for a bit- aka mom Tinder.
The appeal and success rate was about the same, based on what I hear from friends looking for hot singles in their area.
He’s my favorite person on The Bear
I had to explain xanga to someone recently and immediately felt both old and the intense urge to post some Death Cab lyrics online.
