Folks who watch a lot of @mattcolville.bsky.social streams will know the phrase "the devs think of everything" in relation to NetHack and I keep having that thought as I slowly learn the Codex's MANY features.

There are bad ideas. There are really bad ideas. Then there are ideas so bad they should physically hurt you to have. You should get a little nosebleed every time you entertain them and formulating one should run the risk of stroke.

Ahh this takes me back. I fenced for 5-6 yrs in college and really loved it. Green, you gotta get your tip in line and threatening some target area. I get you're trying to bait them out of position, but you gotta see that ain't working.

I kind of just sat there for a second or two, processing what he just said.
I stopped engaging with him, thinking, “the raw nerve of this guy saying that to my face.”
I finally told him that the use of AI is a slap in the face to creative people and it crapped on the memory of my friends.
A guy came to my table yesterday talking about how there should be a reboot of SGC2C. I told him that I was the only voice actor left from the original show.
Then the guy pissed me off, but I held my tongue for a bit to hear him out.
He suggested replacing George and Clay with AI.
