don't want to blow anything out of proportion but i'm really starting to feel like he doesn't have our best interests at heart

Michael B. Jordan is the Michael Jordan of people named Michael Jordan who aren't Michael Jordan.
As a boring 37 year old suburban dad who occasionally goes to a peaceful protest, hugely upsetting to know how many people will react to the news of my violent death with either indifference or eager approval.
Rest in peace to my peers: Renee Good and Alex Pretti.
28 WEEKS has less on its mind and probably wouldn't land for ya if you're not into zombie stuff generally, but the YEARS moves are their own bizarre thing. There are still scares and grisly horrific things, but they are kind of slow and melancholy in the same way I loved in the first, but gonzoer.
With you in a lot of this in that 28 DAYS was maybe the first horror movie that I loved, because the character work was so strong in the first 2/3rds that even when it kinda goes off the rails and becomes more generic in the end, I wanted to keep spending time with those folks.
(Non-derogatory, I really admire both films for being weird vibey hangout movies that are chewing on too much.)
Both movies are more vibey hangouts that you'd expect, so it's less that you're missing crucial plot points than not having the advantage of acclimating to the unexpected tone and priorities of the first YEARS so BONE TEMPLE can have an even more strange vibe growing out of that.
Sold.
I haven't been able to get out to the theater and catch this yet, and you and I are only tertiary internet movie buds, but I feel like you getting to interview him about this is a big win for me.
the subtext of THE BEAR is that the chef guy is so stressed out because he lost the rat that was ratatouilling him 😢

I mean ... yeah.
Yeah, as a guy who often avoids even movie trailers, those assigned seats at AMC have made me impossible to advertise to. I breeze in during Nicole Kidman almost every time. I will adjust my travel/ad time calculus if need be.
I think part of my surprise is that album is firmly after my Relient K days. I saw them on an early 2000s tour which was my first rock show and I think by this (reasonable) metric, that show was a vintage classical oldies show. MXPX will be playing in retirement homes within 5 years.
this would drive me fully insane
please confirm that this word count has changed otherwise I might be physically incapable of reading your book

grownup slow burn political thrillers with a sincere interest in examining what it actually means to actually try to rebel in an actively fascist society ... it just happens to be in a sci-fi universe, and that universe happens to be Star Wars. But it's a sincerely good and interesting show.
I have only seen season one, but: yes. I've mucked my way through all the cartoons with my kids and enjoyed them for what they are doing, but Andor is NOT playing in the same fan-service category (like The Mandalorian). Andor is a series of 3-episode arcs/movies that are

I still have functionally no thoughts on Taylor Swift as a human, celebrity, or artist, but I can say definitively:
I drove the school bus this morning and it was charming and fun hearing everybody chatting about the new album together, sharing the moment, enjoying each other.
