Put a big cross in the box next to the Labour candidate's name - it'll count as a vote against them ❌

I have no problem with that!

(And if it's achievable, the tactical voting sites will back it too. A pro PR party means they get to retire 🤩)

That's not true. Labour won Murton last month, gaining from Reform.

I don't care if you're cruel, please fact check yourself though because we should all care about accidentally spreading misinformation!

Yes actually. I very much prefer a Labour government to the Tories. (Or Reform!)

I'm not happy with a lot of what Labour are doing, and if we had PR I'd vote for someone else. But when my choice is Labour or Reform? Labour any day.

Blame the system ffs, not those trying to make the best of it!

Really interesting - would you consider doing this sort of thing for say the last 5 years?

"Liga F is fairly competitive without Barcelona"

Ok... but if we're making things up to prove our points are we really proving them?

Question: do you expect 100% accuracy in order to avoid you unfairly spreading things about them that aren't true?

1 week ago 0 0 0 0

This is frankly reckless and irresponsible. Going to the effort to put an image together, but not going to the effort to actually look at the site's track record?

Lazy at best, suspicious at worst.

They have very clearly taken the recent surge into account - see: bsky.app/profile/stop...

If people using the site went up dramatically, the number of Reform victories would significantly drop. Maybe a handful of seats will go to Reform because of inaccuracy, but they would lose many many more. In May? Hundreds!

Tactical voting even when not 100% accurate = fewer Reform wins in total.

1 week ago 0 0 0 0

They can't be 100% accurate, but they are still *accurate enough*. Certainly better than the average person guessing.

You're right that if more people followed the site yesterday that Reform would have won. But if more people had followed ALL of their advice, there would be far Fewer Reform wins.

Over 5000 elections in May. StopReformUK.vote don't have to be 100% accurate to stop 100s of Reform wins - they only have to be more accurate than the average person, which they *clearly* will be.
It'd be worth following their advice even if it was only 70% accurate! (it's not, it's higher)

What if what people actually want is to stop Reform?

For those who don't care about that, a site called "Stop Reform" clearly isn't for them. But those who do...

In seats where it's a tight race between Green and Reform surely people should vote Green if they're anti-Reform?

Even voting tactically for the Greens?

1 week ago 0 0 1 0

Yes exactly! So we don't need to twist his words. His other words, and actions, speak for themselves.

He called the *regime* animals, for killing tens of thousands of protestors.

I am no fan of Trump (and believe me, that is an incredible understatement) but it's not helpful to mislead people by removing important context.

In fairness he described the *Regime* as animals specifically, and the reason for calling them that was they killed protestors.

I'm not in support of this war or Trump's rhetoric, but it's important we have context when it makes a difference.

I hate having to do the "look, they're normal just like us" post, but sometimes you have to do that when American propaganda tries to convince everyone Iranians are "animals".

And then add to this the lives lost in the process - the war, the school children, the 30k+ protestors killed in January because Trump told them help was coming and it never came... I am struggling to even comprehend that one man could cause so much harm to a people in such a small space of time.

So Trump has gone into Iran, and made things WORSE. Which is no mean feat!
Instead of a weak supreme leader that could be replaced with someone better, or overthrown in that moment of weakness if reformists vs hardliners couldn't agree. They have someone worse, younger, and here for the forseeable.

4 weeks ago 0 0 1 0

But Khamanei's son? He's a not a reformist. He's worse than his father. He is pro nuclear weapons. He wants the IRGC to be more powerful. He has led crackdowns against protestors.

Plus America literally just killed his father, wife and one of his sisters. That's no recipe to work with someone.

4 weeks ago 0 0 1 0

When Khamenei died, there was every chance that a reformist candidate would have been chosen. And this is by no means guaranteed or a perfect scenario, but if you end up with an MBS type who is willing to modernise and make life better for the people, it's a vast vast improvement.

Trump is indicating the war with Iran may be over soon.
Let's sum up what he's "achieved" here shall we:

Instead of a supreme leader who is almost 87 and rumoured to be in ill health, who either way only had so long left, Iran now has his 56 year old son who probably has many years ahead of him.
