What I find interesting about this line is that it’s an admission in order for this to happen, they need you to lose your ordinary intelligence that you already have.

This is why they want to get into schools. They want kids to lose basic capacity so that they have to rent it forever.

And after starting 1-3 this seemed unlikely. They didn’t quit. Won six of their last seven games. Beat the USA to claim women’s curling bronze. Resilient. Triumphant.

Just a reminder that a bar is a safe consumption site and alcohol caused 17,000 deaths in Canada in 2020. The Ford government closed down the supervised consumption site in my neighbourhood. No matter what the substance, regulated and observed is safer than illicit and alone.

The Norwegians have brought back the fancy pants to the Olympics.

Made famous by famous skip Thomas Ulsrud and his Oslo team at the Vancouver Olympics. Sadly, Thomas died in 2022. But wonderful to see his legacy living on at the Games.
