A strawberry worker in a field

"Gina" works in the strawberries and shares, "Life is very difficult for me. I suffer from epileptic seizures. I persevere because there is no other way. All I know is the fields. I do my best to help my parents because they have sacrificed a lot to raise me." #WeFeedYou

Regardless of the state of the world, I hope everyone is able to be who they are in their own way! You deserve safety, self expression, and the freedom to love who you want to love!

An Easter Monday treat...Puffins pitter patter into our #SpringArrivalSpotlight today! 😍

Arriving in April from the North Atlantic, their unmistakable colourful bills are the heralds of spring on our cliffs.

Look out for these adorable seabirds returning to nesting sites.

I will say tho, I hit the dentist/pcp jackpot in that they’re both very chill and understanding. In fact my dentist even said I don’t have to do 6mo, that annually was fine so if anything I could reschedule his without issue. I just hope I don’t get any painful cavities between now and then!! 😣

Just now realized I double booked my dentist appointment AND physical with my pcp for the same day in July, and I’m nervous to reschedule either bc July was the soonest either had any availability 🫣 why is healthcare so harrrddd

Trans women are biological women. Trans men are biological men. Please stop using the phrase “biological” to distinguish cis from trans people. Cis does just fine and you’re also revealing your own ignorance of how biology works, as well as underlying inherent transphobia, even if unintentionally.

A big locust borer landed on my windshield with a loud “thud” and he was so cool looking but he flew away before I could add him in iNaturalist 🥺

i think sometimes cis people truly have a hard time understanding that jk rowling is a living person actively using her wealth to fund the international assault on trans lives. she’s not some Complicated Author we can have a spirited debate about separating from the art with!!!!!

My new hobby is eating stuff that hurts my tummy and then solving the problem by eating something that hurts my tummy even more. I’m getting pretty good at it guys

I just want all artists to succeed and make cool shit. I want a world where all artists could just make so much art that every story can find its audience and every audience can find its story. I just want to live in a world where we can all bask in the joy of getting to make and participate in art.

Gender affirmation when a dog owner says his dog only likes women and said dog wants NOTHING to do with me. That dog is an ally

A six-panel comic called Signs of Spring, Ranked. In panel 1, #10 is Robin, showing an american robing standing on a lawn - not always a useful sign since robins are quietly present in winter in many areas. In panel 2, there's #9: Daffodil - nice, mundane, #8: Skunk Cabbage - unusual, cool, and #7: Dutchman's Breeches, a flower that looks like a pair of underwear with a hole - lol. In panel 3, there's #6: Turkey vulture migrating - gloriously ominous, a humbling reminder of life's transience, and #5: very very small bunny - wow, the little ears. In panel 4 there's #4: Snake sunbathing, with a gartersnake warming itself - underappreciated, looks cozy, and #3: Woodcock going peent - the perfect sound. In panel 5 there's a wood frog calling from a pond, and #2: small frogs yelling as loud as they can, with a wood frog floating in a pool inflating itself to make a loud quack - they crave love, or at least they crave the external fertilization of 1500 gelatinous eggs. In panel 6, there's a drawing of a spring peeper and #1, Even smaller frogs yelling, with a spring peeper sitting on the ground making loud calls - yes, YES.

The use of the background advertisements colors and bubbles as the happy mood enhancement in the last panel is such brilliant comic making that I'm standing here shocked

A four panel comic!

Sarah is brushing Toby, fur flying everywhere.
SARAH: Toby is our fluffiest cat so it's important that we brush her often!

Toby looks at a ball of fur in Sarah's hand.
SARAH: Colleccting up her loose fur NOW means less loose hairballs in the future!

Toby takes a big bite of the fluff
SARAH: HEY!!
TOBY: CHOMP!

Sarah holds the hair out of reach, Toby is sad.
SARAH: Eating your fur kinda defeats the point...!

edited Heathcliff cartoon.

Heathcliff the cat pauses on his way through what looks like a metal detector leading into the den of the Nutmeg home.

At the top of the detector, beneath a flashing red beacon light, the words "Him Detector" are written.

From the den, Granny Nutmeg explains to her visiting friend, "It's him."

it was so nice to see animation be appreciated at the Oscar’s last night; shout out to Opsis studios, Scott Gairdner, Conan’s team, and Will Arnett for finally giving animation its roses, laurels, and appreciation in the face of AI 🫶🫶

I cannot express this enough: Abolish ICE, prosecute EVERY person involved, and those who enabled it too. Just absolutely monstrous

It is so hard to be trans right now, y’all. Like, I can’t speak for everyone but I’m white-knuckling it pretty much constantly at this point. I hope cis people are understanding how much is at stake for us in this moment: It’s literally our right to exist as ourselves that is being stripped away.

Six years ago today, Louisville police murdered Breonna Taylor while serving a no-knock warrant based on false information.

They shot her six times while she slept in her home. Breonna was only 26. She was an EMT, an aspiring nurse, and beloved by all who knew her.

A comic. A gray and white cat bats the phone out of my hand. “Mother, stop this” He rubs his head against the back of my hand. “You must learn to live ‘in the moment’” “This moment, specifically,” he puts his face into the palm of my hand and holds it there with his paws, “in which I am being petted.”

I need every single male artist that follows me to read this. It's not very long. You need to bear witness to this shit. You have to see it with your own eyes because you never will in your everyday life.

I'm serious, read it all please
