Democracy should never be taken for granted; it deserves respect. Participation should not be granted simply by virtue of existence—it carries a responsibility, as its outcomes impact everyone. 💙
Below I leave my thoughts for today.

The majority of people who voted for Trump still don't know that Obama Care and the ACA are the same thing which is why they support Trump getting rid of it 😬

I pray to forces I don't even believe in that I get the chance to see you when I'm gone, and to tell you how much I love you even if just one more time. I miss you more than words can do it justice. 💙💔

He taught me unconditional love, showed me true kindness and empathy. Though younger, he always stood up for me at home when I was being beaten down or yelled at. My baby brother, my “son,” the one who gave me strength and love like no other. 20/11/2001–06/05/2020. I will forever miss you. 💙💔

I wrote this on 05/05/20, not knowing that the next day, 06/05/20, I'd have to fight 1000x harder to keep going—for me and my baby brother, who passed away. He was, and will always be, my first son. Even if he wasn’t mine, I was always “mom” to him, and he’ll forever hold that place in my heart. 💙

Teaching children responsibility is vital. Age-appropriate tasks help them grow balanced and not entitled, showing that rewards come from effort, not demands. They learn that achieving A, B, or C requires doing D, E, or F, fostering accountability and resilience instead of spoiled behaviors.

Definitely! I don't remember the Nazi party being masked, quite to the contrary. They want to push their hateful rhetoric without real life consequences for THEM. Bringing those consequences to their door needs to be the norm.

( 2 ) If someone doesn’t understand the world around them, they shouldn’t be allowed to vote. Ignorance on critical issues endangers the safety and well-being of others, as uninformed decisions have far-reaching consequences. A functioning democracy depends on educated, responsible participation.

I’m convinced most Christian nationalists believe the Bible’s events happened in the USA, that Jesus was white, and they spoke English. It’s utterly ludicrous and a glaring reflection of a severe lack of education. ( 1 )

Being a good human is simple: treat others with kindness and respect. Sadly, some mask their inadequacy as religion, using a book they don’t understand, written by men and for men, to justify control over others. It’s a poor excuse to impose their will instead of fostering empathy and fairness.
