Hey now... most of them were around my age.

Piping hot coffee burns the same whether it's in a mug or a styrofoam cup. That's why the coffee machine was usually under supervision- but a little creativity can turn just about anything into a weapon in a pinch.

My parole officer has had to make the two-hour train ride from the city and back again in the early morning three days in a row as part of the 'random check-ins.' I do not envy her.
