This marks my fifth year as a Jury Member at Awwwards. Always an honor to be part of such a respected community, evaluating world-class work and contributing to the evolution of design.
Exploring the branding behind Shoutt.
The core value became clear: it’s about pulling people out of endless doomscrolling and reconnecting them with the real world. That’s why the brand messaging centers around one idea — #IRL.

Just applied geo-hashing to the app, allowing it to fetch posts within specific region.
Also added a simple “public vs following” switch — this will be the foundation of how “Channels” work. Basically users can create private channels, i.e. University friends, work team, family—like a group chat.
Ah nice — I won’t be at the conference (not US-based), but I’d love to catch the talk if it’s uploaded online!
I’ll try to put together a short overview of what I’m building (at least the concept I have so far) and would be happy to share it with you.
Sounds great! Unfortunately I won’t be attending the conf — I’m based in Bali atm, the other side of the globe 🙂
But yea would love to get in touch sometime!
I read about one of the projects bringing location data to AT Protocol? Would love to know more about it — it’ll be great to implement on my app and explore the possibilities!
Thank you! I come from a design background but not so heavy in dev 🙂 — The midst was built on ATproto?
If u need some help on the design side my buddy @johnsbeharry.bsky.social and I are running pxpush.com
Thanks Eric!
Would live to know what you think

Started this project a while ago — basically a hyper-local social app. Still very basic but the idea is to have some sort of “channels” people can subscribe to, and if you zoom out on the map you see trending topics in each area.
