Cast again, some not in their full costumes, right after they had done a run-through of a scene before filming. We got to sit in the hopper while they did the run-through and it was awesome.

After watching for a bit, I agree: That movie DID vote for Trump.
I mean, it's a creature feature, I don't expect much except for a cool big creature that kills people.
But maybe a little bit of plausibility for your dialogues? And characters that are actually likeable?
Watching Placid Lake on Netflix, because we're both sick.

Es waren heute mehr Menschen auf der Straße, um gegen Rechtsruck zu demonstrieren, als die CDU Mitglieder hat.
In der Schule hat man uns jahrelang eingetrichtert, was wir tun müssen, um zu verhindern, dass der Faschismus zurück kehrt. Dass Medien und Politik uns ignorieren, wenn wir zu Millionen auf die Straßen gehen, haben sie nicht gesagt.

Panel one: "A book must be an axe for the frozen sea within us." says Franz Kafka. He looks solemn, and holds up a finger to show that he is serious. Panel two: The publishers across the table say "That's all very well, Franz. But we commissioned a board book for toddlers". Panel three: "And here it is!" Kafka answers proudly, holding up a colourful book. It is titled "Choppy Helps out" and shows a cute axe with a friendly face (presumably Choppy) and his friend, a frozen, smiling sea. note: Herr Kafka gave me the manuscript for "Choppy Helps Out!" on the undertanding that I destroyed it after his death. Watching #Twister (1996) in dierect comparison to #Twisters (2024).
15 minutes exposition: all characters are introduced AND already characterised a bit, the stakes are set including 3 interpersonal conflicts!
I mean, part of it is probably nostalgia.
But at least this one has oneliners.
Thank god we didn't watch it in the cinema. Waste of money. #Twisters (I mean, we wasted money, but not as much.)

The main character is magic trauma girl, but has no personality. There are like 14 people there and all are shitty, except for the reporter. I don't care about any of them. Gawd, the Helen Hunt movie at least had characters.
