A-shell, an iOS/ipados app, allows you to run shell commands using #shortcuts! I’ve scheduled a command to download NYT web edition as an epub to my iPad every morning before I wake up. Quite nice!
I recently read that #Calibre has recipes to automatically download articles from popular news sites and create ebooks from this content. I wrapped the #NYT recipe in a github actions workflow to grab NYT web edition each morning.

I’m surprised Google keeps releasing new Nest thermostats. I don’t touch or even look at the 2 I have. I just want them to disappear into my wall. They could get rid of the display and just sink into the drywall. Shoot, I’d probably pay more for a Nest I never see.
That time of year where we say what we're thankful for. I'm STILL thankful for the most useful #javascript #code I've ever written which archives/deletes #gmail threads based on searches. It runs every night and evaluates whether or not to delete/archive based on age of thread. 🤗
