Claude Code from @bcherny.bsky.social & @anthropic.com has become indispensable to running my business -- it feels like a genuine superpower, and I think just about anyone could get this advantage today.

If you don’t indicate on the motorway, I’m running you off the road. It’s for your own good.

But isn’t the point that it means something different for the majority to flaunt their icons and identity?

They give the example of Welsh flags being flown — a country subjugated and absorbed for centuries by its larger neighbour.

It’s like punching up vs punching down.

Just wondered what Nigel Farage's page on the Telegraph would look like if you used Javascript to pre-append the phrase "I'm not being racist but" to his every column

Well yeah but I mean, they believe AGI is right around the corner, right? I wouldn’t listen to them…

I mean, as if it wasn’t always quite ridiculous… “invested in UIpath? Welcome to the top ten!”

I’ve written a number of posts as someone with an English degree and marketing background on what I’ve learned building with these tools. They are truly truly insane.

(I built that site with AI too - and blogged about it.)

Really you need to work with it to write a short spec document first, so it has everything it needs to understand there to build it consistently.

But really really, only use it for small handy utilities.

Then move to Lovable for bigger apps.

Then Claude Code 🤫

It’s much better on languages that show up more in its training data, and where it can run the code and quickly see any error messages etc. That favours popular single page app web languages, and makes proper native apps hard.

Alternatively ask it to create any web app and it should be able to manage that inside its own environment. That’s really what they are talking about.

Don't be afraid of Claude Code Working on the Agentic era. Product, marketing, communication.

Have you tried Claude Code? No point trying to do this stuff inside the desktop apps. productmarketorbit.com/posts/250528...

Are you trying ChatGPT features in new Xcode beta with MacOS 26?

No point trying to do an iOS app in the ChatGPT app, that’s insane.

Today: I cannot believe some coders are only just trying Claude Code.

Tomorrow: I cannot believe everyone isn’t trying Claude Code for all workflows.

Writing is the only way for AI to get to know you Helping founders differentiate in the AI age. Product, marketing, communication. Writing about what's next.

If you want your AI to actually be useful and get to know you, you really have to start writing way way more (and not email.)

Totally agree with this -- GIVING my daughter her own device is a nightmare I want to avoid as long as possible. Giving her a taster of the experience that I can fully control is very appealing.

Look, I bought a Van Moof and they went bankrupt. Then I bought a Cake bike and they went bankrupt. So the way I see it, I'm doing you all a favour by not buying a Maeving yet.

Noticing a current of LLM luddite chat on here. I guess people just feel threatened and don't really know what to do about it?

I think they can all use their search tools to find them if they want but there’s nothing “special” set up for them to connect by default.

Codex is a bit different too — sets up its own little environment to make changes, really good for little tweaks and things.

It’s one of the most amazing things about them, and quite brilliant that they are so valuable in spite of it.

Wooooah that’s a pretty epic story(!) Small world, thanks for sharing!
