Seen this topic go around while on TikTok about Deku and honestly can’t be mad or fully disagre, the only character I could think of off the top of my head who can rival him imo for this is Atom/Astro Boy. Plenty heroic animanga characters too but for embodying heroism not many are on Deku’s lvl.

Orm wouldn’t be a villain YET in this but should be clear when he starts disagreeing with a lot of choices Arthur as a King in this would make and Murk (the guy wearing gold on the council) would agree moreso with Orm. So at the end of the movie or at the end credits Orm would be Ocean Master.

Wouldn’t have it be an origin movie but i’d have some of his background still sort of shown with is parents and with The Others having hold of the treasures I’d use that to show another side of things in his past with them (they’d also all mostly die by Manta in my idea of this as he collected).

I think having an established Atlantis,Aquafamily and more stoic/confident King of Atlantis in Aquaman would be cool. Manta being the villain to start with again going after the 7 Treasures of Atlantis and causing the Dead King to be the bigger bad at the end of the movie.
