If FBI going to say when it pays informants that it is actually supporting criminal activity? I doubt it.

Did Kash Patel read his own lawsuit?
When asked why he was locked out of his computer — as The Atlantic reported and Patel *admitted* in his lawsuit — Patel denied it happened: "I was never locked out of my systems," he just claimed.
What his lawsuit says: buff.ly/JTRuZKf
The Justice Dept’s theory of the case— that the group that single-handedly disassembled the Ku Klux Klan defrauded its donors by concealing that it was using paid informant to do that work and more— has about as much merit as the now-dismissed charges against Jim Comey.
I gotta tell you, it is soulless to have to track what John Solomon says.
But I gravely worry that key players are not tracking what John Solomon says, which is like not getting the free wiretap on the mob lawyer's phone.
I asked X, Paramount, ABC, and Meta where their donations to Trump's Presidential Library went. None of them could give a clear answer.
Tens of MILLIONS of dollars are missing.
Why should Americans trust that this money isn’t going straight into Donald Trump’s pockets?
Blanche: I'M not alleging anything, the grand jury is.
That...sounds odd. Also, I think Ken White made a joke the other day that this sounds just like what the FBI does with its informants and I couldn't stop thinking it throughout the presentation.
It is no wonder no one, including our allies can trust the US government anymore. This is the way we thank people who put their lives on the line to supprt our troops in Afghanistan. SMH
President Trump is said to be in talks to send Afghans who helped the U.S. war effort to the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Trump's decision contradicts his own statement on Tuesday morning that he does not want to extend the ceasefire.

Blue governing leads the way.
Kevin Warsh just lost me. He argues he's going to be an independent Fed Chair, but refuses to acknowledge that Trump lost the 2020 election. If you can't state simple facts when you're in the political spotlight, you aren't independent. You're a coward.
Translation: Taco Trump knows he can’t win so he is delaying and blaming it on Iran
Ford’s move into the Middle East comes after it set a record on Wednesday with 296 days on deployment. That broke the post-Vietnam War carrier deployment record of 295 days held by USS Abraham Lincoln. Ford departed its homeport in Norfolk, Va., in late June for a routine deployment to Europe. Since then, the carrier has operated in the Mediterranean, Caribbean and Red seas. It likely will go into a record-breaking 11th month of operations, the Navy’s top official has said. This is at least the second time Ford has been on duty in the Middle East during its current deployment. In early March, Ford entered the Red Sea, continuing its role in Operation Epic Fury, the joint U.S.-Israel campaign against Iran. On March 12, a fire broke out in the ship’s main laundry areas, causing damage to multiple compartments and displacing some 600 personnel. Three sailors suffered injuries that were not life-threatening.
Btw, the USS Ford set a record for longest post-Vietnam (which Trump could have won) deployment last week. I'm sure that has nothing to do with its toilet problem or laundry fire.
These sailors have been away from home since June.

Iran's Parliament Speaker Ghalibaf's Advisor: Trump's decision to extend the ceasefire makes no sense. The ceasefire extension is an attempt to buy time for a surprise attack. Iran currently holds the initiative.
"if he's confirmed"? So, he'd hold on to such tainted stocks otherwise? Don't confirm this clown, please.
I am begging every Senate Democrat to vote against confirmation of this clown. Take a stand. Don't try to triangulate. This is an easy call.
Senate is voting now to proceed to the budget resolution. It takes a simple majority to proceed. After that, there would be 50 hours of debate, followed by vote-o-rama, followed by final passage. If the House agrees, then would be the process of a reconciliation bill to pump $70 bn into ICE & CBP.
Stock market again sliding big time because of Trump threatening to not extend ceasefire with Iran. But when Trump does announce a deal we 100% know Trump’s family and inner circle will profit from the market. This is the most corrupt administration ever!!!
I agree! Trump got lots of free air time. But that's got nothing to do with Citizen's United. Liberals have immense faith that black-letter law can make people better - or at least prevent them from being more bad than they have to be. Laws are important, but they can't solve being human.
One day view of oil prices showing a sharp rise
One day view of S&P 500 showing a sharp decline
Oil prices rose and stock prices dropped as news emerged that neither the US nor Iran would participate in negotiations in Pakistan:

This is gonna be good. Sadly I will not be able to tune into Kash’s Save My Job presser.
Want to take the opportunity to call out the State Department for replying to my question on whether the dead Americans were CIA with "Off the record, we have nothing to add at this time..."
Off-the-record is not achieved by unilateral decree, it requires a negotiation between source and reporter.
Danny (Dennis) Citrinowicz X.com @citrinowicz From Tehran's perspective, entering negotiations under a naval blockade would signal weakness, not strength. Without credible guarantees that the blockade will be lifted, Iran has little incentive to come to the table. In fact, refusing talks under pressure may be perceived domestically as a show of resilience. As a result, the likelihood of talks commencing in Pakistan remain low.
The problem is compounded by the fact that additional U.S. pressure on Iran may prove counterproductive. Rather than advancing a diplomatic resolution, it is likely to push it further out of reach by reinforcing hardline positions in Tehran. #IranWar • Ali Vaez ® @AliVaez • 1h Nope! Everyone in the Iranian system agrees that there is no point in negotiating if the U.S. continues its blockade…x.com/barakravid/sta... 1:10 PM • 4/21/26 • 15K Views
Exactly this:
“From Tehran's perspective, entering negotiations under a naval blockade would signal weakness, not strength. Without credible guarantees that the blockade will be lifted, Iran has little incentive to come to the table.”
Get you a transportation secretary who doesn’t use oxymorons like “land-based flight.”
listen to this response from John Thune and note how *even MAGA Republicans* are no longer pretending Trump isn't personally directing harassment investigations against his political foes
This is a long think piece, but I argue that Trump's Iran catastrophe may disrupt his efforts to consolidate his authoritarianism, but even more, may provide cause to go after his Tech bro donors and data centers.

You need people who are “really competent,” says Chad Mizelle, who is so competent that today he asked Trump to combat Virginia’s redistricting effort by issuing an EO declaring the 1847 transfer of Arlington and Alexandria from DC to VA to be unconstitutional.
