#sotd was a freebie but I do like it. Cocoa Grunge by Lovesick Witchery is warm, incensy with a heavy dose of cocoa powder, not sweet chocolate. Soft and cosy, but not overly gourmand and sweet.

Couldn’t sleep this am so went across the bridge to Point Pinole for a 4 mile hike. It’s so beautiful over there, great park and friendly people. There was quite a bit of shade which was unexpected, yay!

Rain hiking this weekend at a tried and true beach for a quick out and back. Actually spent more time in the car looking for a break in the weather. Made it and wasn’t fully waterlogged.

I haven’t had something drop into the “oh NO” pile in awhile but wow this d.grayi is way too animalistic and off for me. Is it the Manuka or Chrysanthemum throwing me off? Oof. Not my day for a new #sotd

2 days and still has some ice. Great gift I got for Easter!

Who was digging around in the garden after they dropped their Salem Witch Shop by Dark Alchemy / Vampfangs and got dirt everywhere? I also broke the cap. It’s very heady with the Nag Champa & incense scents. The dragons blood is in name only, but all good, this is still fun. #sotd

Pushed myself today on my hike and did it (with a few breaks). Finally did Yolanda, Hidden Meadow & Shaver Grade loop that had quite a few runners and cyclists on the back stretch. 655 ft elevation gain, that’s a lot for me right now!

Same. I was finishing my hike when the birding groups were just getting started around 9am (and I even spent time hanging out on the beach). They missed SO MUCH! I don't know if I can handle non-early hikes anymore.

I have to admit, so far this is a good audiobook since the FMC is "ooh, hot guy is tryin' to kill me, so hot" (obv not far in) and you really don't have to pay that much attention since the plot is so damn easy to follow.

While keeping up with my visual book reading, I decided to give audiobooks a try again. Hiking: okay, but I miss a lot of the nature. Driving: how did I get home? There’s focus that I want to dedicate to a book & auditory isn’t easy for me to multitask and do a good job of both.
