Oh boy, it’s been awhile. We have a LOT to catch up on.

I want you to teach me sometime how you get such subtle gradations of ink wash. The such smooth transitions even in big areas. I’m starting a huge project where I intend to use washes, but I may just resort to one shade of gray, or a couple, over regular inked pages.

TvE AND Alex Ninó? Well holy shit. I’ve never even heard of this. I just bought an all Alex Ninó issue of the Warren magazine 1994 on eBay a couple weeks ago. I somehow doubt this is collected anywhere.

I thought so too but then I found them after watching a video about all the new stuff it can do. They might still be there somewhere. However, I am as far from an expert as you could be on this subject.

And a Randy Newman score! That movie was filmed all around where I grew up in Iowa. I haven’t seen since I was a kid but I remember loving it.
