The whole point of his game is that he gives a player a buddy, aka one of his souls, and player has to torture this soul until it dies in the most painful way. If player succeeds, everything goes back to normal and they're allowed to live, if the player fails to kill the buddy, or kill it as painful as possible, X kills the player, takes their soul and turns them into new buddy to be tortured by others. In the free time when the game's not active, he himself tortures other buddies by putting them into disturbing scenarios, that result in their horrific, gruesome and long death. Scenarios themselfs are an endless loop, and are always unique each time for each buddy. Design wise he's always covered in blood, due to whole torture point of the game, star on his shirt ripped to resemble X shape, and stiches around his feet are sharp teeth, wich turns feet into maws, allowing X to bite with them.
