I finished my first bit of weaving and it's far from perfect but I'm still pretty proud of it π If it's long enough, I'm going to use it as the strap of the bag I'm working on π§΅π§Ά
I'm learning how to do tablet weaving and it's not perfect, but it definitely is entertaining π
Black, green fabric hexagons are sewn together to make flowers with cream hexagons filling in between each flower
I picked up hand sewing and I'm learning that I need to re-take kindergarten because I can't draw/cut a straight line π Still, I'm pretty proud of how it's coming along and how much I've cut out of my screen time. π§΅πͺ‘
I can definitely relate π I hope you find relief soon
Abolish ICE free pattern pdf picture has the words abolish ice and flowers that are to be embroidered
Crafters, if you would like something to work on capitalstitchco has released this pattern for free. The creator has said that in lieu of purchasing the pattern, put that money towards immigrants rights orgs of your choice.
You can alter this for knitting & crochet too! π§Ά

I can finally share some of the handmade Xmas gifts I made! I embroidered these badges for everybody in my polycule π
Lol not until later tonight. My polycule has to wait until one of my metas comes back from visiting family out of state.
One of the worst things about this time of year is that I can't show off all of the handmade presents that I've made βΉοΈ

I decided to learn how to hand sew yesterday and I made this stupid (affectionate) little frog πΈπͺ‘
I usually do surface crochet or crochet the letter separately instead of embroidery
I have a migraine so this isn't the best pic (it looks a lot better when worn) but I just finished my first toe-up sock with calf shaping and a heel flap and gusset! π Now I just need to make the other one... That'll be a later-Nathan problem π§Ά
I mention that I want to try DMing a D&D one shot *one time* and now I'm getting flooded with ads for different Kickstarters and campaign modules. I'm glad that my algorithm gets me but gd, it doesn't have to be so aggressive

A foot wearing a hand knit sock. The cuff, heel, and toe are dark grey. The main part of the sock has very small stripes of olive green, dusty rose pink, pumpkin orange, mousey brown, and light yellow.
A black beanie has a bright blue brim and a skull in the front
A foot wears a partially knit sock, still on yellow, metal double pointed needles. The toe and the heel are dark grey. The main part of the sock has very small stripes of olive green, dusty rose pink, pumpkin orange, mousey brown, and light yellow.
Lol whoops, I forgot that this site existed π
So far, I've made a pair of cuff-down socks with a forethought heel, a granny skull hat commission, X-mas gifs, and I'm working on my first toe-up sock with a gusset and hell flap, which will include an additional gusset as I work up the leg.
A bright red knit beanie on a sage green blanket
A person wearing a bright red beanie and a blue and green crocheted striped sweater. Their face is hidden behind a smiley face sticker because they are very exhausted from work.
I finished my first knit hat in 3 days! I want to add some finishing touches to it once I have more spoons and I give my hands/wrists a little break, but I'm still pretty happy with how it turned out π§Ά
A ribbed brim of a bright red hat sits on a set of circular knitting needles, working from bottom-to-top.
I've been knitting on and off for ~15 years and I've never made a knit beanie. No time like the present ππ§Ά
The amount of people who used to be in my life that are now saying that "we lost a good man" isn't zero and that's incredibly disappointing. Just a reminder that he said that gun violence was a sacrifice to protect the 2nd amendment. If you genuinely agree with this, there's the door.
Thank you π

A femme person with bright red hair and gold glasses has their hands in the pockets of their high-waisted denim shorts and is wearing a green variegated knit crop top and a sage green crochet cardigan with brown buttons
I finished knitting the Secret Summer Crop top a few days ago and it ended up being so comfy! Will definitely make again π§Ά
A cake of mottled forest green yarn leading to a knitting project sits in front of a green and yellow notebook, with a neon green measuring tape and neon green glasses on top, and an olive green earphones case sits above it. Everything is sitting on a sage green blanket. My hand and arm are also shown to be covered by a light blue and emerald green striped sweater sleeve. I might like the color green.
I told my bf the other day that I wasn't sure if green was my favorite color anymore. Meanwhile this is what my crafting set up looks like today, my 3 most recent projects have been green, and I only use the green heart emoji π I might have been wrong π§Ά
Whoops, forgot to tag the pattern designer! @jessiemaeddesigns.bsky.social
So pretty! Will you be selling roving again in the future?
A mottled forest green project sits on pink metal knitting needles.
I just started this project but I'm already obsessed with how it's working up. I'm making the 'Summer Secret Crop' by Jessie Maed Designs with 'Secret Woods' in fingering weight from @nerdyknitsyarn.bsky.social and I just *know* the finished top is going to be pretty π π§Ά

Thank you! πππ I had to make it in my favorite color, but I'm already planning on making another one in black or grey π
Thank you! π
A red haired person with green glasses stands wearing mostly black and white, but is also wearing a loose, mesh, olive green cardigan with dark brown buttons.
Not the best pic but I finished my cotton X stitch cardigan! π It took me 2 months & I had to make a few adjustments along the way, but I can't wait to wear it in the fall. Tbh, I might make another one in another color too.

A screenshot of the no ice in California front page bundle showing it has made $37, 630 of its $50k goal
Might be a good time to remind folks of the No ICE in California itch bundle raising funds for the immigrant defenders law center (or you can donate to them directly) itch.io/b/3110/no-ic...
