I think this is something we have to really grapple with. If we have the tools to run good virtual meetings then we need to be using them. A further dimension is also the visa inequalities meaning in person meeting only benefit the minority.
And they have lived through a global pandemic with so many disruptions. The idea they are snowflakes is simply laughable.
