COLLINS: Who's idea was it to put ICE in airports?
TRUMP: Mine. That was like the paperclip. Do you know the story of the paperclip? 182 years ago a man discovered the paperclip. It was so simple. And everybody that looked it thought, 'Why didn't I think of that?' ICE was my idea.

To impugn one's integrity, that person must have integrity first.
Wow, they found someone who makes Michael Brown look competent as FEMA director. I never thought I'd see the day.
Furthermore I just now realized after that lengthy thread of posts that she filmed all that in a cemetery. What a fucking asshole.
Alas this is a problem for #Iowa voters: They have now seen what #JodiErnst thinks of their concerns and how little she values their lives. If they feel that she is still their choice going forward, then that is their choice but ultimately reflective on them as a state and as a people. 10/10
Furthermore, I don't think flexing your religion which is based on the son of God feeding and healing the masses out of empathy and compassion is a good idea when telling people to die faster so rich people can pay less taxes. More tone-deafness I guess... 9/10
#SenatorErnst encapsulates this concept of evil IMO by making it clear that not only does she not empathize with her constituents concerns about a real life or death issue, but then took the time to mock such concern by comparing it to fairy tales. 8/10
For context, Captain G. M. Gilbert, the Army psychologist assigned to watching the defendants at the Nuremberg trials is quoted as saying "Evil, I think, is the absence of empathy.β I have yet in my near 40 years of life found anything more fitting to describe the concept of Evil. 7/10
Which brings us to the video at the start which I'm assuming at this point isn't some AI generated turbo slop. This isn't just doubling down, it's a condescending non-apology and in my opinion an exceedingly evil one. 6/10
Of course you would assume a response should be to sincerely apologize and/or try to explain or walk back what was said. It's either that or you release no statement and just ignore it, if that's your sincere belief and you feel it requires no explanation, why elaborate? 5/10
So #SenatorErnst decided to produce the above video in response to the negative attention she's received because it is inevitable that the original clip is going to be used by her political opponents going forward. 4/10
Now to be clear, I'm pretty sure we are not living in some fantasy where no one dies ever which is why her constituent remarked that cutting these programs will kill people: With these programs, the people who need them would live longer lives compared to just suffering without treatment. 3/10
So in a nutshell, #Republican #Senator #JodiErnst at a town hall remarked that we are all going to die eventually in response to a constituent pointing out that cutting government funded healthcare programs would result in people dying. 2/10
Oh boy this is quite the thing to unpack through one bloodshot eye but I doubt my response would be any different however it will be a long one so be forewarned. 1/10

I'm not surprised at all but apparently this somehow came as a shock to #Michigan Governor #Whitmer, as if trying to strike a deal with a convicted fraudster was going to have any other outcome. I guess bending the knee wasn't worth it in the end.
The memes from the TACO stuff should last quite a while until he tries to tariff the memes for hurting his feelings.
Changes like these, as tiny and insignificant as these may seem, are like a snowflake softly rolling down a snow covered hillside... Eventually growing and growing until it's an avalanche that buries a town. What that looks like all laid out, even I don't know and some people would say I'm smart.
So @slotkin.senate.gov and @peters.senate.gov , I'll be asking this through other channels as well but are you still satisfied with your choice to affirm Kristi Noems nomination as DHS Secretary? Is this choice of yours what you thought would best represent the choice of Michiganders?
When it comes to AI, does anyone remember RoboCop when one of his programmed directives prevented him from arresting high level OCP employees? Think about that the next time you're talking to Grok or hear about how it went off the rails with regard to South Africa.

A few of them spill the beans like this every time, like clockwork
V1βs thrusters failed in 2004. NASA somehow figured out a way to revive them. Thatβs incredible.
Really now? The fight you shy away from while you vote for Trump's unqualified nominees? Give me a break and just resign, let someone who actually walks the walk do the job.
What the actual fuck? Please tell me this is satire.
Did you wake up this morning deciding to be a dumb as fuck fascist asskisser or did you aspire to be one from a young age?
I've personally listened to the director and Tom Clancy commentary track from The Sum of All Fears. While I'm not a fan of the movie, I'll watch it with that commentary track on every time.
Yeah I saw that too, absolutely nuts.
I was still holding out hope you'd be different @slotkin.senate.gov than @peters.senate.gov but y'all seem cut from more or less the same cloth. What a disappointment you both are.
There's no bargaining with fascism, it dictates the conditions of your life. That's the point.
This isn't a situation where Democrats can get by on straddling the fence. Whitmer can kiss Trump's ass in order to ensure her citizens get FEMA aid, or she can demand he follow the precedents and laws of the nation.
If you don't see why the former choice is horribly bad, I cannot help you.
I normally don't type that much on a phone and it's been a long day, I'm going to pop some ibuprofen and go play #Helldivers2.
