Year 5 have had a brilliant day at Kew Gardens. We have explored the glass houses, climbed the treetop walk and taken part in a workshop about the rainforest. And avoided the rain…almost
And finally Year 1 made homes for animals at Forest School.
Year 1 have also made animal art from natural materials.
A massive thank you to C & T Exotics for such an amazing experience!
Year 1 even touched the giant land snails!

Year 1 have had an amazing day! C & T Exotics brought the rainforest to us today! The children had a brilliant hands on experience with a wide variety of exotic creatures. We learnt so much!
Year 1 have looked at the artist Antony Gormley. He creates art based on the human form. Year 1 made little clay people models. They rolled, squashed and pinched the clay.
