Last day of #OAH2026 went well. Started with walking tour of revolutionary sites, door dashed lunch to the room, went to a great panel on disability history as US history, then met up with grad school friends for dinner on a patio.

this reminds me, i don't think SCOTUS should be allowed to choose their own clerks. standardize the hiring schedule, put the applications in a pool, blind reads (perhaps by a panel of former clerks) and random assignments.

And as an early Internet user, I'll add that at no time were we told we needed to "learn" to use it properly or needed "training" unless we planned on coding our own website. The user experience was entirely self-explanatory.
